The single "Onagawa" is now available for download on iTunes and Amazon. "Onagawa" was inspired by David Milligan-Croft's poem "Tsunami - A poem for Japan".
Composing this piece was my way to come to terms with my personal connection to last year's tragic events in Japan. I've decided to publish "Onagawa" in order to commemorate the victims of the earthquake and subsequent tsunami. The release date marks the one-year anniversary of the tragic events.
All proceeds from the sales of "Onagawa" will be donated to "Helft Japan", an Austrian non-profit organization initiated by the Department of Japanology at the University of Vienna, which has already supported a number of projects in Japan during the past year.
